Privacy Policy

§ 1. General Provisions


1. The data administrator is Boom Media Adriana Łuczko ul. Turystyczna 29, 87-100 Toruń, entered into the Register of Entrepreneurs under the NIP number 8792666019. Data protection is carried out in accordance with the requirements of generally applicable legal regulations, and their storage takes place on secured servers.

2. The glossary of the Regulations is used to interpret terms or as described in the Privacy Policy (if it results directly from the description).

3. For the purpose of better reception of the Privacy Policy, the term “User” has been replaced by the terms “You”, “Administrator” – “We”. The term “GDPR” means Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC.

4. We respect the right to privacy and care for data security. For this purpose, is used, among others: secure communication encryption protocol (SSL).

5. Personal data provided in the form on the contact page are treated as confidential and are not visible to unauthorized persons.


§2 Data Administrator


1. The service provider is the administrator of its customers’ data. This means that if you have an Account on our website, we process your data such as name, surname, e-mail address, telephone number, position, place of work, and IP address.

2. The Service Provider is also the administrator of people subscribed to the newsletter and people downloading the offer from the contact page.
a) in accordance with the provisions on the protection of personal data,
b) in accordance with the implemented Privacy Policy,
c) to the extent and purpose necessary to establish, shape the content of the Agreement, change, or terminate it, and properly implement Services provided electronically,
d) to the extent and purpose necessary to fulfil legitimate interests (legitimate purposes), and the processing does not violate the rights and freedoms of the data subject: to the extent and purpose consistent with the consent expressed by you if you subscribed to the newsletter, to the extent and purpose consistent with your consent if you have expressed your desire to download the offer.

4. Each data subject (if we are their controller) has the right to access data, rectify, delete, or limit processing, the right to object, and the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.

5. Contact with the person supervising the processing of personal data in the Service Provider’s organization is possible electronically at the e-mail address: contact@happypins.pl.

6. We reserve the right to process your data after termination of the Agreement or withdrawal of consent only to the extent necessary to pursue possible claims in court or if national or EU regulations or international law oblige us to retain data.

7. The Service Provider has the right to share the User’s personal data and other data with entities authorized under applicable law (e.g., law enforcement authorities).

8. Personal data may be deleted as a result of withdrawing consent or submitting a legally permissible objection to the processing of personal data.

9. The Service Provider does not disclose personal data to entities other than those authorized under applicable law.

10. We have implemented pseudonymization, data encryption, and access control, thanks to which we minimize the effects of a possible data security breach.

11. Personal data is processed only by persons authorized by us or processors with whom we cooperate closely.


§3 Cookies


1. The website www.happypins.pl uses cookies. These are small text files sent by the web server and stored by the computer’s browser software. When the browser reconnects to the site, the site recognizes the type of device the user is connecting from. Parameters allow the information contained in them to be read only by the server that created them. Cookies therefore make it easier to use previously visited websites.

The information collected includes the IP address, type of browser used, language, type of operating system, Internet service provider, time and date information, location, and information sent to the website via the contact form.

2. The collected data is used to monitor and check how users use our websites, to improve the functioning of the website, ensuring more effective and trouble-free navigation. We monitor user information using the Google Analytics tool, which records user behavior on the website.

Cookies identify the user, which allows the content of the website they use to be tailored to their needs. By remembering their preferences, it allows us to appropriately adjust the advertisements addressed to them. We use cookies to guarantee the highest standard of convenience on our website, and the collected data is used only within Boom Media to optimize operations.

3. We use the following cookies on our website:
a) “necessary” cookies enabling the use of services available on the website, e.g., authentication cookies used for services requiring authentication within the website;
b) cookies used to ensure security, e.g., used to detect abuses in the field of authentication within the website;
c) “performance” cookies, enabling the collection of information on how the website pages are used;
d) “functional” cookies, enabling “remembering” the settings selected by the user and personalizing the user interface, e.g., in terms of the selected language or region from which the user comes, font size, appearance of the website, etc.;
e) “advertising” cookies, enabling the provision of advertising content to users more tailored to their interests.

4. The user can disable or restore the cookie collection option at any time by changing the settings in the web browser. Instructions for managing cookies are available at http://www.allaboutcookies.org/manage-cookies.

Additional personal data, such as e-mail addresses, are collected only in places where the user has expressly consented to it by completing the form. We retain and use the above data only for the needs necessary to perform a given function.


§4 Other use of data

1. Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. Gravatar’s privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment is approved, your profile picture is publicly visible in the context of your comment.


2. Cookies

If you leave a comment on our website, you will be able to choose to save your name, email address, and website address in cookies, thanks to which the above information will be conveniently completed when writing subsequent comments. These cookies expire after one year.

If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie does not contain any personal data and will be discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also create several cookies to save your login information and selected screen options. Login cookies expire after two days, and screen option cookies expire after a year. If you check “Remember me”, your login will expire after two weeks. If you log out of your account, your login cookies will be deleted.

If you modify or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the post you just edited. It expires after 1 day.


3. Embedded content from other sites

Articles on this site may contain embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the same way as if the user visited that website directly.


4. How long we store your data

If you leave a comment, the content and metadata are retained indefinitely. Thanks to this, we are able to recognize and approve subsequent comments automatically, without sending them to moderation each time.

For users who register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. Each user can view, correct, or delete their personal information at any time (except for the username, which cannot be changed). Site administrators can also view and modify this information.


5. What rights you have to your data

If you have a user account or have left comments on this site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided. You can also request that we delete all your personal data in our possession. This does not apply to any data that we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security reasons.
